Welcome to okay. Loser the only show with technical issues that make me wanna pull my hair out. I am James Powell and I am Jenny Greenley, and I am down to just a few strands of hair left. Yeah. He's like bald at this point. It's been, uh, an interesting few attempted recording sessions. He's bald. And the only hairs he has left are like gray.
It's not a good look. I was already pretty ugly and it's just gone downhill from there. Yeah. Now you just look like a baby chicken. All right. Well, let's talk about something more interesting than how ugly I am. Uh, let's talk about Jenny, my favorite topic. Well, you know what mind I did say something more interesting.
I'm more interesting than your ugliness. Sure. Uh, well, let's spice in more up than just about. Why don't we let's talk about makeup. My second favorite topic. Okay, fine. Fine. Yeah, sure. We'll talk about makeup. Yeah. Good idea. Pull my arm. God . But before we get into that, um, I wanted to circle back and, uh, just say that, uh, we've appreciated everyone who.

Yeah, I mean, we're, we're, we're, we're good for at least one cheap laugh. We're hoping to grow our audience of people who laugh at us by at least.
I mean, those are some solid projections. Yeah. I, um, did you make up a, uh, like a shocky bar graph or something? A bar graph well, I don't know line graph, I guess I haven't made one of those since college. Well, now's the time projections are high wasn't a very big stats person. So probably not. Well, you were probably too busy with all that makeup.
True. Just in class. Just beating my face. Yeah. Oh, oh, wow. That's that sounds really depressing. just in class wailing on yourself. No, beating my face as in like doing makeup. Oh, it's a term. Well, that's a lot less interesting. just me punching myself in class. Hey, it's the weird girl again. all right. So many kids, no class.
We're just gonna watch the freak pumble herself. um, but so when we first came up with the concept of this episode, um, immediately it reminded me of a story from very early in our relat. and I was starting to tell you a little bit about it before we started recording. Um, but you didn't remember this? No, I had no recollection of this core memory as you've described it.
I mean, really, I, this is something that has stuck with me for the last, how many years now? Almost seven will be seven next month. Wow, incredible. What, what, what's our anniversary, James? Um, 1776. Wrong answer. Oh, nerd it's you know, it's what, you know. Yeah. I'm familiar with that date. I'm having trouble remembering like the numbers though.
Could you maybe elaborate? Yeah. It's on mm-hmm. . It's redacted.
I remember it. I just, I, the, the listeners don't want to hear about that though. We've been talking about it for like a solid two minutes at this point. Anyway, the story I was gonna tell you about from back in the, before times, right? Um, BC before cash. Cash. I don't know. I'm trying to be funny and it's not working.
Are you like rolling in the dough currently? I mean more than I was in college. That's true. You can afford to take me to Penn station now. Oh God. Don't
that perhaps another time. We'll talk about that story. Yeah. That's another core memory at this point. . It really is, you know, speaking of Penn station, not to get on too much art tangent here, but that actually feeds back into like before we were dating to. Right. Yeah. It's a good segue. Is this the, the, the memory you're about to describe, did that happen before we started dating?
No. No. Okay. I didn't think so. No, this happened after we started dating, but the Penn station story, which I'll tell really quickly, basically, um, Jenny and was single at this point. I'm trying to swoop in and slide into those DMS. Smooth. Yeah. It was not very smooth. Um, anyway, it's not, I, uh, I was living, uh, on campus at the time and I was like, Hey, why don't you come over?
We can hang out. And like, why don't we go get some dinner or something? As bros. Yeah. Yeah. So I was like, I'll pay, don't worry about it. And, and I also a poor college student said, okay, free dinner and I think you were wanting like ice cream or something like you had already eaten or I hadn't, weren't hungry.
I hadn't eaten yet, but I was like, I'm really Jones for some cold stone right now. And it was like right across the street. Yeah. And I was like, okay, sure. Get some dinner first and then maybe we can get some ice cream. No, you said there was no, maybe involved. You said we'll get ice cream afterwards and then go on.
Well, we went to Penn station and I was not aware of how absorbant their prices were. If that's a word that I didn't just totally butcher. I don't know if you've been to Penn station lately. You sweet, sweet listener. Their prices are out the Wazo like we went maybe a month ago and paid almost $50 for two sandwiches, two medium order of fries and two drinks.
Like I'm, I'm out here spending Longhorn money on something that's worse than subway. Really? Yeah. It really wasn't very good. It was not good. My sandwich wasn't even. I should have complained just, just to confirm we're not being sponsored by Penn state. good. I don't want their soggy stupid cold sandwiches anyway.
Um, but on, on this time before we were dating, um, We go in, I pay for everything and I'm like, Ooh. Huh? That's that's a lot. Yeah. My bank account said, ouch. So I checked my bank account before we left and I was like, oh, uh . I actually don't have enough money to go get ice cream now. No, you didn't say that.
You just said, no, let's not go there. And I was like, you didn't give me a reason. And I was like, but I want ice cream. And you're like, maybe I was too embarrassed. probably . And I was like, what the, what? That's the whole reason I went to dinner with you was so when we get ice cream afterward jokes on you sucker.
No kidding. And we've been together ever since. Yeah. So all you said pathetic losers out there. There's hope for you too. Just look at James. I'm ugly and I'm a loser and you're proud. I wouldn't say I'm proud. I'm an ugly loser who stuck with it. beautiful. Um, the actual story now, now that we're like 15 minutes into the podcast.
Um, so I, we had just started dating and being the sad lonely man. I was, I was trying to score some early boyfriend points. Mm-hmm . Jenny was telling me about how she just got some new makeup product or about some, uh, design she did today or, or that day or whatever. I don't remember. That's not the important part, but then I'm like, oh babe, you don't need makeup.
I think you look way better without makeup. It was a bad move. it was a bad move. It's not. No, no. Just, just avoid that phrase. If you're a man and trying to woo your girlfriend, or if you're a girlfriend trying to woo your girlfriend, or if you're a girlfriend trying to woo your boyfriend and they wear makeup, it's just a, no, that was a wide set of parameters there you could have just said anybody
Well, I already said like some things and then I was like, it snowballed from there. Huh? Anyone can wear makeup. It's not just like a girl thing, so yeah. Um, but this, this girl, she clapped back hard at me. I don't know if you remember this or, or not. I don't, but it definitely sounds like something I would do, especially after the relationship I had just gotten out of where I, I guess I won't really get into that a whole lot, those toxic, but anyway, we're not gonna unpack baggage here.
No, we're not. We're this isn't the, this isn't my therapy right now. I mean, we can start a new podcast where you just cry the whole time. No, I already do enough crying as it is. Um, but so she comes back and she is like, well, good. I don't wear makeup for you. I wear it for me. and I just like shrivel up into a tiny ball and pretend like I don't exist anymore because the girl I just started dating and I've had a crush on for years, just basically.
Like smashed me into the ground verbally.
go off queen you, you really let him have it. And I'm here for it. so it's a bad move. Don't do it. Just don't do it. Okay. Some free advice from the okay. Loser podcast. You can take, you can trust us. Yes. We're losers. Don't trust us on sub shops, but do trust us on things not to say to girls. No, they can trust us on sub shops.
Do not shop at Penn station. okay. You're gonna spend a lot of money and you're gonna regret it. I feel like we're gonna get sued after this, like goes out. We're just, besmirching their name? Yeah. They're gonna like Sue us reliable or something. come at me, bro. All right. I dare you'd Sue me anyway, uh, to the, to the boring part for the, uh, the attorneys listening.
Um, let's get onto the actual topic at hand . Okay. That's great. All right. Yeah, we're already like over 11 minutes in, so oh, I really, I exaggerated the 15 minute thing by a lot. Well, yeah. Um, anyway, so when did you start doing your makeup? Well, I. . I was sort of dipping my toes in the water of makeup when I was in middle school.
Um, and when, I mean, dipping my toes, I mean like barely submerging my pinky toe into the water. Like I was wearing black eyeliner, just like pencil eyeliner, but I was like, you know, this is my emo phase. We need to hearken back to episode one. Um, just. Full on raccoon eyes. Uh, it was, it was a look. It's what the people wanted.
Yeah. It wasn't a great look, but it was a look. Um, and then I started wearing like lipstick when I got into like eighth grade and like my freshman year of high school. And I didn't start off, you know, we're just gonna do like a little subtle, like natural looking lip color, like little nude pink moment.
No, we went straight for. red lipstick. So red lipstick, raccoon, black eyes. That was me in like eighth grade, freshman year. I'm imagining like your face, just looking like a warning sign or something like, like what are the street signs where it's all like black and red wear? Yeah, no, uh, not a great look then.
After that I started moving on and I started doing, um, like winged eyeliner, which I still do a lot of to this day. Um, and I was kind of like trying to perfect my wing at this point. Didn't start off great with the winged eyeliner, but I progressed over the years and I think I've gotten it better. Um, what young Jenny walked.
So you could fly exactly with your wing eyeliner. My w eyeliner used to be like really long too. Like it was, it was noticeable and it wasn't always a good thing. um, I mostly like stuck to eye makeup for a long time. I didn't start wearing like any face makeup, like any foundation concealer blush bronze or anything like that until, uh, well, senior year of high school.
On prom day I actually started wearing, uh, I decided to try foundation for the first time. So bold move on me doing that. I mean, that's, that's a whole commitment for something you've never done before. yeah. I remember going to Walmart and buying like just some random like cover girl foundation. And I was like, surely this will be fine.
And I didn't know that there were like different types of foundation. You know, their powder liquid, you know, that stuff, but like different finishes a foundation, like a matte finish Dewey, somewhere in the middle type of like that full coverage, high coverage, um, low coverage, like all that, all that lingo I knew nothing about.
So I just picked something. I still don't know about it. well, we can, we can dig into that. . so, yeah, I just went for it, grabbed the first thing off the shelf and put it on. I didn't use bronzer. Well, hold, hold on. What did, did that foundation match at least is that I remember seeing those photos and you were pale.
like, you look like you just came out of Twilight casting calls. yeah. Um, I was extremely pale in high school. Didn't didn't bother tanning a was actively against tanning because that just sounds sad.
I was such a pick me in high school. It's embarrassing. I, I don't know why I was like all the popular kids are tan and I just, I'm not with that scene, bro. Like, I'm trying to be as pale as possible. I don't know what was going through my mind. I'll show the popular kids. I'll blind them as I walk by. They won't see me coming.
They're I'm gonna be glowing. they're gonna see me. Um, but yeah, so the foundation shade, it matched. Okay. Um, it wasn't great, but it, it did the job and in the pictures, my face in my neck match. So I, I did something right there. Um, did you describe baby powder? No, . Oh, I like, I was about to say I didn't wear any bronzer.
Didn't put any eyeliner stuff in. Well, actually, no, I may have used, uh, I meant brow pencil, not eyeliner. Um, were you still going raccoon eyes? No. I had moved onto a wing eyeliner at that point. Okay. And I was wearing mascara also. Oh, didn't start wearing mascara. A woman. Yes. Didn't start wearing mascara until maybe like sophomore year of high school.
So yeah, I, it was like a slow progression. I was like, let's start off with the eyes. And then 10 years later, we'll, we'll add the, uh, face foundation, the makeup. . Yeah. Um, so when do you think you got good at doing makeup? Um, I would say it took a long time. um, I, I think I started to get okay. At makeup. When I was in college, I started doing like full face of makeup.
Like I was really into full coverage makeup. Um, I was doing my eyebrow. Really badly um, I got a little bit better. Uh, like, you know, a little bit later in college, but I remember like just blocks blocky type of, uh, eyebrows looked like I drew it on with a Sharpie, not a good look in the slightest. Um, and then I started, you know, like I mentioned, Using bronzer using cons uh, concealer using bronzer.
That's something I knew. Yes. That's the only makeup product, you know, , I probably couldn't even pick up, pick the bronzer out of a lineup, but I know the word , you've heard the word many times. Yeah. In college, me and my friend, Allie, um, we would, you know, go to target and Ulta and buy makeup as you do. Come back to her dorm room.
James would be with us, of course. And, uh, we would do our makeup with our new products. And sometimes we would ask James to identify the different products that we were about to use. And we would ask, do you know what this is? Nine times outta 10 James' answer was bronzer it was almost never bronzer.
There are so many names for so many different things that don't look like. They do that much of a different thing. That it's hard to remember them all. I, I guess I, I, yeah, like, like the highlighter, like the powdery highlighters and the powdery bronzes, they look exactly the same. like, you mean the products themselves look the same or they look, they don't look different on your face?
Well, like the, the packaging and the product. I mean, yeah. How am how's the guy supposed to know? Well, bronzer is typically like brown or like a dark color. Um, whereas highlighter is gonna be brighter and usually shimmery in, in my experience of looking at things, they look very similar. Well you're wrong.
okay. I'm I I'm willing to accept that judgment. So, uh, yeah, I think my, my makeup has definitely like changed with the trends, um, of the time, but I feel like I'm most confident with the makeup that I am putting on my face now, like at this point in my life, do you still think there's room to. Oh, absolutely.
I could definitely improve my blending on my eyeshadow. I don't use as many. I don't do a lot of colorful, looks a whole lot anymore with my work. I just kind of slap something on and go. Um, sometimes on the weekend I will, you know, go a little bit more hand with the makeup and do some creative looks. Uh, but yeah, blending is something I can struggle with.
Um, other stuff too. Well from the rave reviews, we've heard by people. We don't know. You have fantastic eyelashes. Yes. Thank you. yeah, I'd say my eyelashes are probably like my favorite thing of makeup, like putting on mascara and then like false eyelashes. Um, even if I'm not wearing falsies, I really enjoy wearing mascara.
Like even if I'm not wearing like any other makeup I'll put on mascara sometimes just to feel put together, it's, it's really kinda odd because like, of all the things people will say, like, you'll, we will just get random people walk up to Jenny and they're like, oh my God, your eyelashes are so pretty.
Mm-hmm it was just like, I mean, they're eyelashes, right? I mean, yeah. I feel like eyelashes kind of accentuate your eyes particularly. And you know, if you have like really pretty eyes, it makes them stand out and it looks really nice. Um, also I think long eyelashes are something that everyone kind of appreciates, um, like, you know, not everyone loves like red lipstick or what have you, but I think anyone can get behind nice, full, luscious lash.
maybe I'm just not very observant. I don't know. You're not, I, I didn't, I wasn't like dang that girl. She's got some long eyelashes. I think I'll ask her out two or three times. That's because I wasn't wearing mascara. whatever you big ma mistake crush on me. Yeah. I dropped the ball on that one. Yes. Yeah.
You could have had five or six times if you wore mascara. I know like God. I should have been on it sooner. You could have had a whole dedicated symp. Why did they keep this from me? so how did you originally. Uh, how to do your makeup? Was that more trial and error or how to videos? Um, I definitely would try different things out.
I didn't look up any videos or anything for how to apply a foundation on prom night. Like I mentioned earlier. I just slapped that sucker on. I think I used my hands too. That was a bold move yeah. Wow. I wouldn't have the courage to do that. yeah. Well, I'm kind of a rebel. I don't know. Um, so yeah, didn't, didn't really do a whole lot of looking things up at that point, but.
I started to get really into watching, uh, like YouTube videos for makeup. Whenever I was like starting college and like late high school, um, like the summer after high school and started getting into that, I watched, uh, NICU tutorials a lot. She was my favorite at the time. I remember her. Yes, she was super talented.
Still is really talented though. I don't really watch her anymore. She's still like doing the full coverage thing, which I'm not as into anymore. Um, but I still think she's really talented and does really good work. You've kind of talked about your early emo influence. Was there, uh, like a really big sharp turn from raccoon eyes?
Mm-hmm , uh, emo Jenny to a more, you know, quote unquote girly Jenny. Um, I would say yes, I was doing the raccoon eyes for a while. And then after that, I kind of started progressing into doing like winged eyeliners, kind of like how I talked about a little bit before, um, which it's a progression, it's a small progression, but it is a progression because.
You know, the raccoon eyes I'm putting like black, uh, pencil eyeliner on my top and bottom of my eye. Whereas with wing eyeliner, I was using liquid eyeliner and just drawing a wing on my top lash and that was about it. Um, and then, you know, obviously going from not wearing much makeup at all to wearing a ton of makeup yeah, like in, you know, my college days.
I still was. I wouldn't have considered myself girly by any means in college. I think I'm more girly now than I ever have been, to be honest. Um, I definitely was wearing a lot of makeup, um, and getting more into that scene and feeling pretty in that way and feeling more confident in myself, even though I wasn't dressing particularly girly.
do you think it takes a certain commitment to do makeup the way you do? Um, do you feel like you have to wake up earlier? Is that like something you wish you didn't have to do or wish you didn't do? Um, but is expected or, um, I, I don't know. Is it something you don't like? I mean, I know you like doing your makeup.
do you wish you didn't have to put in extra work for it? Um, I feel like I know what you're saying. Um, yeah, I worded that too. it's okay. I feel like there is a lot of societal expectations for women to wear makeup and look presentable, especially at, you know, your job, especially if you work in like an office or, you know, in a higher position.
Um, And you're talking to popular or not popular, but important people. You're still worrying about the popular girls. Huh? they still want me to this day living in their tans. they're tan hides um, yeah, so I feel like there is a, still a degree of, you know, women are expected to dress a certain way and look a certain way to be taken serious.
Um, but on the flip side of that, I feel like, you know, a woman who wears makeup and takes pride in her look, uh, can also sometimes be like looked down upon like almost kind of like, why are you so vain or you're being narcissistic right now? It's a no when situation, huh? Yeah, exactly. Um, personally, I don't feel a ton of pressure to wear makeup.
Um, at least from like outside perspective. I definitely feel really confident, like a lot more confident than I normally would be if I wasn't wearing makeup. Um, and I think that's kind of evolved over time. Like I, I enjoy wearing makeup day to day at my job now. Um, but like even in college, I definitely did not wear makeup as often on days than I would wear makeup.
I would maybe wear makeup on the weekends or like maybe once for class mm-hmm , but I was pretty much bare face most of the time. Um, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Um, you know, finding confidence in makeup. I think some people might think it's shallow or whatever. I mean, does it really matter to you?
Like what makes me feel beautiful and confident? And like, at the end of the day, like I said earlier, you know, I'm I'm, I am doing this for me, you know, my, oh, I remember . I remember my coworkers and people that I work with and see day to day, they don't care if I'm wearing makeup or not, but it's about me looking in the mirror and feeling like I'm putting on, you know, A fresh face for work and looking presentable.
And I think, you know, is that society ingrained in me over time maybe, but I don't think it's necessarily wrong. Does it ever feel like it's too much? Um, because you like, just an example, you wake up about an hour earlier than I do. Mm-hmm . And, you know, I don't really know what goes on during that hour.
Cause I like to sleep. do you enjoy sleeping? Yeah. so I like, do you ever wish, like this thing you like doing just wasn't so much of a time eater, because like, for me, I wake up an hour before I have to be at work shower and I'm out the door. Mm-hmm and that's it now, granted, I. Have something like that, that I enjoy doing as much as you do, but does it ever feel like it's too much?
Not necessarily. I don't feel like I normally wake up early because I like my alone time. ouch and well, I think, no, I'm, I'm joking. I enjoy, you know, taking, you know, a couple hours before I go to work. Um, cuz my work can be stressful. I work I'm a social worker. You know, it can be kind of emotionally demanding sometimes.
Um, absolutely. And it, it can be hard. Um, so having that time in the morning to kind of like prepare myself for the day and feel like I don't have to rush out the door, um, and doing makeup is something that really calms me and it helps distract my mind. Um, like for example, our cat moose. Over the weekend, he injured himself.
Um, and I've been like super worried about him. he's sitting next to me now sleeping. Um, but I couldn't tell you the, the number of times I cried over, I probably could I was just, you know, really stressed about him. And on Saturday night, I was like, you know, I'm just gonna do like a creative makeup look just to get my mind off of things and distract myself and try to calm myself because I had just been panicking all day and I did feel better after doing that.
And it gave me a chance to just kind of zone out, listen to my music and do something that makes me happy. And so I don't really. Regret how long it takes sometimes to do my makeup because I enjoy the process. That's another thing I wanted to bring up. Um, sometimes even when we're not going out, you will do your makeup and you might do like more of an, a extravagant, like, even than if you were going out mm-hmm
Okay. I don't know. I I've always kind of find, found it odd, I guess. um, I noticed like, you'll be like, why are you getting ready? We're not even going anywhere. and I'm like, cuz I want to, like, we were literally gonna be on discord Saturday night when you did that look. Yeah, that was our whole play. We were just gonna, gonna play an RPG on discord and that was it.
And you were doing your makeup and I was like, okay. yeah, it, uh, Like I said, it's just something I enjoy doing. And again helps me feel confident, even if I'm not gonna see anyone talking to someone over the phone, not all the time, but I don't know. Again, confidence stuff. Okay. well, you did look hot. Thanks.
Yeah, I tried, I, I really liked that. Look I did with the, yes, I bought, I bought like a bunch of pink themed eye makeup while I was at the store earlier that day and just went to town on my eyes. Um, and I liked how it turned out or, Hey, you really missed that. She looked good. What's your favorite process or product?
Uh, now I, I know back in the day. Really liked your bronzer or was that all? No. Someone liked the, maybe I'm just forgetting what words are again. you just love bronzer. You are obsessed with bronzer bronze. Why don't you go marry bronzer if you like it so much. Uh, anyway, um, what's your favorite product or makeup process to do?
I've really been getting a lot into blush, which I used to like never wear, like, I don't even think I own blush in college. Um, and I don't know why that is. I, I just, I use bronzer and that was about it. I was like, this looks fine. Um, but like in the last few months I've really been enjoying putting on blush.
I feel like it. Add to the look, it looks so cute. Like just a little pop of pink or like a light type of red on the cheeks. Oh, it just accentuates the look in a way that, uh, I had never really experienced before. Um, for my makeup users out there. I've really been loving the, uh, Melan liquid blush. Um, I think the color I have is rose something I don't remember exactly, but it's a 10 outta 10 blush works really well.
Looks cute. Stays on a long time. I need to get more colors. All right. Do you have a favorite look that you've done? Um, it doesn't have to be recent just all time. Favorite. I, yes, actually, uh, James had showed me these questions before we did the podcast, just to kind of help me. Wow. Get an idea. Really pulling the curtain back there.
No, one's gonna believe that you just pulled these questions out of your head. Yeah. I'm I'm trying to look impressive here. Well, real journalism. talking about Penn station and getting sued by them and yeah. Yeah. But no. So like I said, he had showed me the questions before and when I saw this one, I was like, gosh, that's gonna be kind of hard because I've done so many looks over the past, you know, 10, 12 years since I started doing makeup.
Um, but then almost immediately after that, I was thinking, and I was. I did those pride looks last year in 2021. Maybe it was 2020. I don't remember. Um, but I did, uh, different like themed makeup looks for pride month. Um, and one of them was for the trans flag and I really, really liked that. Look, I think I remember that one, that one was.
Pretty intricate, wasn't it? Yeah, it, it took a while. um, I had to like try to get, you know, both sides of my eyes symmetrical so that they would look nice. Um, and each eye itself was pretty intricate. Um, so that one took a long time, but the, the end result was really nice. And I also did a look, um, for the bisexual flag and I think that one turned out really nicely, too.
Um, I think you had mentioned before that you really liked the bride look I did for this year. Like the rainbow eyes. Yeah. Yeah. I think that one looked really nice. Mm-hmm it? Maybe wasn't as intricate as the, um, The trans flag one that you did Uhhuh, you know, it's probably a good thing because we were outside that a lot that day yeah.
Yeah. I, I like doing colorful, looks like that and vibrant type of looks. I like doing pink eyeshadow a lot. Um, just, you know, pink with different, uh, glitters and different shades of pink. I think it's really flattering. Um, and I'm in my pink. So, oh, it's a whole era. Yeah. It's an era right now. All right.
Well, I'm gonna alert the press about that. I think my new favorite color is hot pink. A, a bold statement. Yeah, I know. Wow. Yeah. Wow. It's not too late to take it back. I'm pretty confident in that. Okay. For now. Anyway. All right. That's your final answer? Uh, yeah, final answer. Okay. All. It's it's now on record.
all right. Um, write that down, write that down. so what's the, the best makeup advice you have for someone who either is new to the game, or just looking for a, a quick trick to pick up? Um, I would say don't be afraid to. go against trends that are going on. Um, like whether that be on TikTok or YouTube or whatever, you know, every, so often, every couple of months, every couple of years, some hot new trend comes along.
Um, and it's cool to follow those. You know, I think it's fun to engage in those types of things, but also, I don't want people to ever feel like they have to follow trends in order to. Look cool. Or feel confident. Um, if that makes you feel confident. Great. But I, I say this because I was watching this girl the other day who, uh, she really enjoys doing blue eyeshadow, which hasn't really been super popular since like early two thousands, like nineties, like the whole color isn't popular.
Well, no, but just like the specific eye look that she had done, like, uh, like a shimmery type of blue. Ah, um, it it's like very nineties, which is making a comeback. Honestly, I feel like nineties trends are coming back around. Um, but like she was getting hate in the comments being like, why are you doing that?
Like this, you know, it's not the nineties anymore. Like move on. Um, and to that, I just say, why do you care? what someone is doing with their body that makes them feel happy. Um, you know, I. Anyone has maybe room for improvement with their makeup. If they're looking for that, like, if they're asking for advice as to what they think they can do better with their makeup, you know, that's fine, whatever.
But if you're doing something and you feel confident and it, I think you should just rock that, you know, do whatever's gonna make you happy and make you feel the most, you, you can feel. Um, and don't, don't worry about what other people are doing. Saying about your makeup, because at the end of the day, your happiness is what matters.
And we all have our different things that we like. So if it's not hurting else, I say, go for it, man. You have this bad way of ending. These shows very positively. Why is it a bad? I don't like it. this is not, this is too wholesome. This is not a self-affirming show. This is a show where you get roast. Aw. I feel like you didn't roast me hard enough in this one.
Oh, don't worry. Uh, so my advice for people who are getting into, uh, into makeup is to very early on buy an organizer. Or else your desk will look like the one that Jenny and I have shared for the last three years. Hey, that organizer has really changed the game though. It's only three years too late. and whatever it's fine.
You could have bought me one before. Now. I had to go and buy it myself. Oh, sorry. I'm I'm such a deadbeat. What is this? The two thousands. This seems to be like the 1950s where you just buy me stuff and I, you know, stand in the kitchen and make food and have babies. Uh you're smothering me.
All right. Last question. So I can go ahead and run out the door. Um, yes. What would it take for me? The ugly hairless man. to glow up. Well, This might be kind of a moot point since you have about three strands of hair left , but I, uh, I'm really glad that you stopped using two and one shampoo and conditioner.
That was great. Um, I recognize this IST a tip for current you, uh, for current you, I just wanna say I've never been less efficient than now. I, I, I now have to wash my hair twice. And apply two different products. One, all I had to do before was apply one, but your hair is thanking you, right? I don't know. It looks the same.
No, it doesn't it's hair. No, no. I mean, yes, it's hair but it's not. No, no. For, for current James who has, you know, evolved and now use. more than one bottle in his shower regimen. Um, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, Shea and cream, all in one toothpaste. . Uh, I would say washing your face regularly, engaging in some skin care.
I, I, you know, we get under the, the water spout and, uh, you know, do a little washy wash with the body wash. I use God's soap, water uh, and also moisturizing. Moisturizing is key. If you're gonna wash your face, you need to moisturize afterwards. Okay, soap water, moisture. got it. I'm gonna get moisture from the water on my face.
So it's, it's a real three and one of its own God. No. What have I done? I've made a new three and one product for James to use. Well on this good news. I think this is. An even better place with even happier news and, and a, a happier way to end this podcast. We are not ending it. We need to talk about something else for Jennifer Greenley.
I'm James fell. No, I am going to the bathroom right now to wash my face with water only. God, we'll see you later. Losers. Peace out.
